Book Review!!!
A series of unfortunate events (book 1)
Hi this is my first ever book review. The name of the book I read was a series of unfortunate events this book is great and I do recommend you read it I watch the tv show on Netflix first over the summer and loved it then when I found out there was books this school year I just had to read them. And I’m very happy with my decision. I would rates the book an eight. I think it can use a little bit more comedy. The book is about three really wealthy children and their parents past alway in a fire and they found out from the banker Mr. Poe, they go stay with him for a while because they have no clothes or anything. Finally Mr. Poe finds them a guardian their “uncle”. They go and stay with him and he was very cruel to them everyday he would leave them unbearable chores. Then one day he try’s to marry Violet the oldest child, comes to find out he was just trying to do it to take control of her fortune.

Middle school the worst years of my life!
We read the book middle school as a read aloud in class. I just have to say this book was great. I would rate it a ten, I enjoyed this book so much. It had everything that I liked in one book comedy, lots of pictures and drawings, a happy ending, and a shocking twist. If you read a few pages you would want to read more and more and more. The book will make you laugh and cry. The book is based off a kid named Rafe and he is going to middle for the first time him and his “friend” wants to make middle school fun, because normal is boring. How are the going to make “middle school fun” you ask by bending the rules in some ways. And that’s all the info you get for today.

Roller girl
I read the book Roller girl almost a week ago book I am just now getting time to do a review on it. This was a nice book. I rate it a nine, the book was about this girl named Astrid who had a best friend named Nicole, and they did everything together. Until one day Astrid’s mom took her to see roller derby’s, Astrid fell in love with it but Nicole didn’t. So they kind of branched off from each other. Astrid goes to a roller derby camp and she was really bad at the beginning everyone was more experienced than her, she was “the new girl”. Then they had a big game coming, long story short she helped her time win, but the point I’m trying to make here is you can do anything. She was really bad a roller derby and she ended up helping her time win the game, because she didn’t give up she lost a friend during the process but she kept pushing into she accomplished her dreams of playing roller derby. Just keep going and pushing until you accomplish your dreams and this is book is a perfect example of that so go read it today!

Swing it, Sunny
I read the book swing it sunny and before you even continue reading this I want to tell you the book was terrible and this blog is going to be short, because like I said the book was terrible. Please don't come for me if you like the book, and the author of the book please don't come to my house with cops trying to sue me. But the reason I didn't like this book is because it was poorly drawn, and poorly thought out. The book was super MESSY and went from the 4th of July then to Christmas then to The first day of school. Thats not the exact concept yet you get what I'm trying to say I also read the book a long time ago, but I think if a book is not remembered it's not a good book. I'll try to remember what happened though. So sunny'd brother is in a military school she really misses him and he comes back home for Christmas, but he looks different. And she say him smoking she gave him a pet rock as his present he told her that he loved it but left it when he went back to military school. overall the book was BORING but not the worst I've read. I rate it a two.

I've also read Sunny side up this book was by the sane author as the previous review. And I wasn't so nice about that review. Well this book was the same I do not like it at alllllll. It was also terrible. sunny goes on vacation with her grandpa to Florida at his retirement home she went there because to much was going on at her house with her brother (read the other blog post to know what happens to her brother) she thought it was going to be fun and she goes to Disneyworld, but that's not what happened. She found a friend there and they started a whole business of find cats for old lady's at the retirement home. Her new friend introduced her to comics and she loved them. But the reason I didn't like this book is because the characters were again poorly drawn but the concept was a lot better and and not all over the place. She also was trying to stop her grandpa from smoking yet he has cigarettes hiding everywhere. Anyways the book was boring I thought after reading the second book it would be better than the first one but it was not just a little better. I rate this book a three.
