In ELA we started debates, the debate topic we’re doing is Killer Whales I haven’t decided what side I’m picking yet I will give facts about both sides and maybe I’ll decide by the end of this blog.  I’m going to talk about the positive of keep killer whales in captivity and then the con of keeping whales in captivity. But first a little background knowledge about this whales...Excuse me killer whales. So some people think that this whales are dangerous will they are, Tilikum killed 3 people yes like human beings lost their lives to this whale. SeaWorld (The place that keeps the whales in captivity) stopped all whales from having baby’s but on whale was already pregnant when they made this announcement. These whale pregnancy last up to 18 months. Most Killer whales only live to be about 25-30, but Newsela says one whale lived to be 40 years old. Hello people, we’re starting debates in ELA so this weeks post will be about debates (Obviously) the thing that we were assigned to debate about is school uniform. My opinion school uniform is not the best so in my blog I will be talk about why school uniform shouldn’t be a thing (with research and my personal experience with uniform) but to also challenge me I will be taking about why uniforms can be helpful/ useful sometime . I believe school uniform shouldn’t be a thing. Do you want to look like a prisoner walking down the hallways? School uniform isn’t the best option for clothing, uniforms are like jail suits everyone is dressed in the same colors and no one can express themselves how they want. Uniforms are also not the most comfortable thing to wear, if you have a stomachache or feel sick, girls for example could wear leggings as their clothing if the went to a known uniformed school and boys could wear jogging pant but that’s not the option when you go to a school that has un

In ELA we had to choose one word to describe 2019. 2018 was okay/good for me but I decided my one word for my 2019 is BETTER!!! I picked the the word better because like I said before my 2018 was good but my 2019 can be better when 2020 comes I want to say my 2019 was great, awesome, amazing. I’ve sat a lot of goals for the year, I hope you do the same! You may not believe but if you sat a goal to do something it’s more likely of happening not if you just say, I’m going to do this. It’s best to say the goal, a time limit and track how you progress. By better I also mean better everything grades, friends, choices, and so much more.
